It clearly is a beautiful piece. Our problem is the chain is too short for my wife to wear it. We anticipated this, so we also ordered a longer, and somewhat stronger chain. Unfortunately, the opening on the necklace is too small to either remove the old chain, or to replace it with our longer chain without damaging the hummingbird. Update: The seller provided the option to either return the piece and get our money back, or to adjust its connection so that it could take our chain. We chose to return it for adjustment to accommodate our larger chain and they fixed it at no additional cost.

Handmade right in front of us in Old Jaffa Tel Aviv!

I did not buy this necklace. However I just returned from a trip to Israel and was in their shop where this jewelry was being handmade right in front of us. The amount of detail and work put into each piece is amazing!! It was a beautiful shop in Old Jaffa Tel Aviv. They even have a little museum where they found old relicts when they were doing some remodeling of their shop. It was a great little find on our travels. Highly recommend their jewelry.
